Brussels. Today, AVERE – The European Association for Electromobility, is announcing a major transition in its Secretariat. After seven years of unwavering dedication, our esteemed Secretary General, Mr Philippe Vangeel, is stepping down from his role.

Mr Vangeel’s leadership has been instrumental in navigating AVERE through the fast-evolving landscape of e-mobility. His dedication has played a crucial role in propelling the association’s development and success, particularly in advancing e-mobility across Europe. It is with deep and sincere gratitude that we bid farewell to Philippe Vangeel. We thank him for his exemplary service, wishing him continued success in his future endeavours.

“Over the past five years, electromobility has evolved from a promising and emerging environmental technology into the undisputed future of road transport and a core industrial and even geopolitical priority”, says Maciej Mazur, President of AVERE. “We are determined to further cement AVERE's position in this changing world.”

AVERE is initiating a search process for a new Secretary General who can steer the association towards the next phase in its development.
